1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SpeedyChef application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SpeedyChef is an iOS application that provides:

• AI-powered recipe generation based on ingredients you enter (free users have limited generations per day; Pro users have unlimited)
• Kitchen storage and ingredient management
• Saving and organizing recipes
• SpeedyChef Pro subscription: ad-free experience, unlimited recipe generation, and optional iCloud sync for ingredients and saved recipes across devices

3. Device and Apple ID

You do not create an in-app account. You are responsible for:

• The security of your device and any data stored on it or in iCloud
• Any Apple ID used for in-app purchases or iCloud sync
• Notifying us of any suspected unauthorized use of the app or your data

4. Premium Subscription

4.1 Subscription Features

SpeedyChef Pro subscribers receive:

• Ad-free experience throughout the app
• Unlimited AI recipe generation
• Optional iCloud sync for ingredients and saved recipes across your devices

4.2 Billing and Payments

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
• Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

4.3 Cancellation

You can manage and cancel your subscription by going to your Account Settings after purchase. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Transmit any harmful or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use the App to generate inappropriate or harmful content

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Nenad Biocanin and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

7. AI-Generated Content

SpeedyChef uses artificial intelligence to generate recipes and cooking suggestions. Please note:

• AI-generated recipes are suggestions and should be reviewed for safety and dietary restrictions
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of AI-generated content
• Users are responsible for verifying ingredient safety and cooking instructions
• Consult healthcare professionals for dietary advice and allergy concerns

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Nenad Biocanin be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the App, to understand our practices.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Terms in the App. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the developer’s jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide (App Data)

• Recipe Data: Ingredients you enter, saved recipes, and content you create in the app
• Storage Data: Kitchen inventory and ingredient lists you add
• If you use iCloud sync (Pro), this data may be stored in your iCloud account (Apple’s systems)

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version (e.g. for compatibility)
• Advertising: If you use the app without Pro, ad networks (e.g. Google AdMob) may collect data for ads and measurement; see their policies for details

1.3 AI and Third-Party Processing

• Recipe Generation: Ingredients and preferences you enter are sent to an AI service to generate recipes
• iCloud: If you enable iCloud sync (Pro), your ingredients and saved recipes are stored and synced via Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit)

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Service Provision

• Generate recipes based on the ingredients you provide
• Store and manage your kitchen inventory and saved recipes (on device and, if you choose, in iCloud)
• Process subscriptions via the App Store (Apple)
• Show ads to non-Pro users (e.g. via Google AdMob)

2.2 App Improvement

• Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience
• Improve AI recipe generation algorithms
• Fix bugs and optimize app performance
• Develop new features based on user needs

2.3 Communication

• Respond to support inquiries sent to the contact email
• Subscription and billing are handled by Apple; we do not store your payment details

3. Information Sharing

3.1 Third-Party Services

Your data may be processed by:

• AI Provider: Ingredients and preferences you enter are sent to an AI service to generate recipes
• Apple: In-app purchases and, if you enable it, iCloud (CloudKit) for syncing ingredients and saved recipes
• Google AdMob: For non-Pro users we show ads; AdMob may collect data for ad delivery and measurement (see Google’s privacy policy)

3.2 Advertising

If you do not subscribe to SpeedyChef Pro, we show ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may use data for ad targeting and analytics. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law or to:

• Comply with legal processes and government requests
• Protect our rights, property, or safety
• Prevent fraud or security threats
• Enforce our Terms and Conditions

4. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Data you enter in the app is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud sync, in Apple’s iCloud. Communications with our AI provider and with Apple use standard security (e.g. HTTPS).

5. Data Retention

Your recipe and ingredient data is stored on your device (and in iCloud if you use sync) for as long as you keep it. We do not maintain a separate account or central database of your personal data. Third-party services (e.g. AI provider, AdMob) retain data according to their own policies.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Your Data

• Access: Your recipe and ingredient data is stored in the app (and in iCloud if you use sync); you can view and manage it in the app
• Delete: You can delete all app data from the app’s Settings. If you use iCloud sync, you can turn it off and remove data from iCloud from Settings
• Contact: For other requests regarding your data, contact us at the email below

6.2 Privacy Controls

• Advertising: Limit ad tracking in your device settings (e.g. Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). Subscribing to Pro removes in-app ads
• iCloud: You can disable iCloud sync for SpeedyChef in the app Settings

7. Children's Privacy

SpeedyChef is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information during such transfers.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
